Worthy Cause Wednesday
Fall is all about cozy moments.
For Mamie, those moments now happen in a very special place of her own.
Living with a respiratory disorder means doctor appointments, medications and treatments are part of daily life. But when Mamie received her wish, she asked for something simple: a she shed where she could read, spend time with friends and cuddle with her dog.
Today, her she shed is exactly that.
"There is no machine here. No nebulizer or special drinks. That will all stay out of here. It really is a like a little house. A little place of her own."
For every referral I receive, I donate a portion of the Commission to Make A Wish Foundation. Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors,
supporters, advance the Make-A-Wish vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness.
