Jacqueline’s first semester at the University of Arizona was just getting started when everything changed. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and forced to trade campus life for chemotherapy, but even in her hardest moments, she held onto hope
Her wish for a college scholarship became something to look forward to during treatment, a reminder of everything still ahead and a reflection of her strength.
Today, Jacqueline is back at UofA studying molecular and cellular biology and dreaming of medical school. She is soaking in time with friends, watching those Arizona sunsets, and giving back by volunteering with Make-A-Wish Arizona, helping create a positive environment for kids who are waiting for their own wish.
“My life has changed with a new perspective,” she shared, and it shows in everything she’s doing
