Worthy Cause Wednesday!
A couple weeks ago, we gathered to celebrate the heart of our mission—our incredible volunteers—at our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon!
But the program was sweetly interrupted by a special delivery for 5-year-old Idris… 
Idris, who is living with leukemia, found out in front of a cheering crowd that his wish to go to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawai‘i was coming true!
He just returned from a magical week during Aulani Wish Week, where wish families from all over the country came together for an unforgettable celebration. Idris spent his days swimming in the resort’s lazy river and splash zones with his sister, soaking up the sun. But his favorite moment? Meeting Mickey Mouse in person and giving him the biggest hug!
This wish gave Idris and his family precious time to relax, laugh, and just be together.
A heartfelt thank-you to Disney for helping bring so much joy and magic to wish kids like Idris.
