When 10-year-old Khiry wished to go on a Disney Cruise Line® adventure, he dreamed of fun, family, and a little bit of magic. What he got was so much more.
From the moment they stepped onboard, the surprises didn’t stop—gifts delivered to his room, his favorite desserts at dinner, and VIP fireworks views under the stars. ??
He met Captain Minnie ??, joined a magical princess gathering ??, and lit up during Pirates in the Caribbean night—costume and all! But the biggest surprise? Khiry took the stage during karaoke and sang My Way by Frank Sinatra in front of a full crowd. ??
It was a moment his family will never forget—especially because Khiry is usually shy. His confidence soared.
He swam with dolphins, explored Castaway Cay with his mom, and even celebrated an early birthday with a special cake. ?? Everywhere he went, he wore his Make-A-Wish pin proudly. “I want people to know I’m San Diego’s Wish Kid,” he said.
For Khiry’s parents, the most meaningful part was seeing their son truly shine. “We cried seeing how special he felt,” his dad said. “We’ve never seen that glow before.”
This wasn’t just a vacation. It was a wish that made Khiry feel celebrated, brave, and deeply loved. ??
