AJ’s wish was to escape to the sunny beaches of Mexico and relax with his family. After being diagnosed with leukemia at 14, his journey has been tough, but this trip was the break they all needed.
His mom shared, “It’s been a crazy ride. I am SO glad we took the cruise when we did. Originally, we were going to wait until later, but I’m so glad we didn’t. We really needed that break.”
Spending time on the beautiful beaches of Mexico, AJ and his family were able to recharge, make lasting memories, and experience the joy of simply being together.
Now 16, AJ is thriving—he’s back on the football field as a lineman, working toward his Eagle Scout rank, and taking weekly drum lessons.
His strength, resilience, and dedication are truly inspiring!
